Terms & Conditions
As an international camper rental broker, Worldwide Campers offers a pre-paid, all inclusive product. We work together with international rental companies, continuously comparing terms, conditions and prices of all rental companies. However, each rental location or rental company offers different terms and conditions. The most important terms and conditions which apply to all our rental vehicles are listed below. The specific terms and conditions that vary per supplier are linked on all supplier pages.
You can always contact us for questions about additional terms and conditions regarding specific rental locations or camper suppliers. We will always strive to provide you with the right information about the specific terms and conditions of your camper rental quotation.
General Terms and Conditions
Note that the terms and conditions below are applicable for almost all our suppliers, but we do work together with suppliers who use deviating terms and conditions. Please check this before you finalize your reservation. All published prices on the website and on personal quotations are with reservation of possible alterations by the supplier.
Disclaimer: Other terms and conditions may apply. All rates, terms and conditions of a camper supplier can change without notice.
What is included in the all-inclusive package?
All published prices in the booking process and quotation include: camper rental, liability insurance, collision damage waiver, theft insurance and local taxes, unless other specifics are mentioned in the terms and conditions of the supplier.
What is not included in the price of your rental camper?
Fuel, passenger insurance, young driver fees, extra driver fees and the added extra options are not included. These costs vary per rental location and supplier. You can ask about the exact prices when making your reservation. Most rental locations do not cover the windshield, tires and towing charges in their insurance. A liability insurance can be added to your booking in some cases. In case you are planning to cross the border with your rental vehicle, the supplier can also require an extra insurance.
Personal accident insurance
Most travel insurances cover personal accidents for all passengers on the rental vehicle. Please check your own insurance before picking up your vehicle. In case this is not covered by your own travel insurance, you can add this to your rental contact at the location.
Worldwide Campers No Risk warranty
In case of accident, theft or break-in, the rental company will hold you responsible for the full amount of the excess. If and when you are required to pay this excess at the rental location, Worldwide Campers will reimburse your costs. We believe that your holiday should be without any worries. Our No Risk warranty can be added to your booking for $9 per day. Read more about our no risk guarantee and submitting your damage claim here.
Quotations
On our website you can make a quotation for camper rental. The validity of a quotation is five working days or as long as the rental flex rate is accurate. Within this time period you can confirm your quote, which means you agree automatically with the terms and conditions of Worldwide Campers and of the supplier. Your confirmation can be done by e-mail. The moment that we receive your final confirmation, the reservation is definitive and can only be canceled according to the cancellation policy of the supplier. You are required to pay the cancellation fee in case this is part of the suppliers policy. After the validity of your quotation is expired, we can make a new quotation for you.
Payment conditions
After receiving the invoice of your booking, we ask you to make a down payment of at least 10% of the total invoice amount. In the case the supplier asks a higher down payment as part of his terms and conditions, or in case the supplier makes use of a cancellation fee, this amount will be your down payment. If the down payment of the booking is not transferred within five working days, your booking will be canceled automatically and you cannot derive any rights from the booking. The total invoice amount must be transferred to Worldwide Campers three months before departure date at the latest. In the case the booking cannot be canceled, the total invoice amount must be transferred to Worldwide Campers before we confirm your booking with the supplier. Until the suppliers confirmation your booking will be under precondition. In the case your booking is made less than three months prior to the departure date, we ask you to transfer the total invoice amount within five working days. If the total invoice amount is not transferred within five working days, your booking will be canceled automatically and you cannot derive any rights from the booking. You are still responsible for the payment of the total invoice amount.

This also applies when you cannot rent the vehicle because you are not in possession of the right official documents.

If you are, for whatever reason, not satisfied with your rental vehicle, you have to report to the rental company immediately. It is very difficult to judge a claim about the state of a vehicle after the rental period is over. Worldwide Campers must always be informed of any problems to enable us to find an appropriate solution. Filing a complaint at Worldwide Campers must be done in writing with a copy of the local rental agreement and credit card statement. This must be done within 6 weeks of your return. When dealing with the problems and complaints, Worldwide Campers will take on the roll of mediator between the customer and the rental company. Voluntary insurance payments paid at the rental location cannot be reimbursed. No reimbursement can be made if you have accepted certain alternatives at the rental location without intervention or information from Worldwide Campers.

Customers are therefore subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and the laws of the country wherein the vehicle is rented. Worldwide Campers is therefore not responsible for loss, damage or changes to the vehicle, delays or changes which happen because of civil conflict, corporate dilemmas including air traffic, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or unfavorable weather conditions, cancelled flights, or airline bankruptcies.
